Tom O'Connell

Tom O’Connell has a proven track record of successfully building start-up businesses to profitability within the life science space. His background includes distinguished technology, product development, and operations experience with innovative, fast-growing companies.

In 2010, Tom co-founded endpoint, a provider of SaaS platforms for the clinical trials industry. Under Tom’s leadership, endpoint grew from a raw startup to an organization valued at $200M in only five years. Tom oversaw all operational aspects of the business from founding until endpoint’s acquisition by LabCorp in 2017. Prior to endpoint, Tom was a member of the founding team at Viscira, a leading provider of digital solutions focused on the life science industry.

Previously, Tom was a founder at Dynarand, a San Francisco based company designing interactive response systems for clinical trials. Tom oversaw all operational aspects of the business from founding until the company’s acquisition by United BioSource Corporation. Earlier in his career, Tom held various software development positions in the telecommunications and FinTech industries.
